For anyone interested this site National Barkfly (Outdoor Psocoptera) Recording Scheme
has a barkfly recording scheme for the UK plus a Gallery to help ID (with many of my pics ). Bob is still looking for pics of specimens.
Specimen collecting can be done by holding an upturned umbrella under a bush or tree branch and giving it a shake - you'd be suprised what falls out if you do this.
