Sorry, I've been out down the river Wharfe with my camera and have a few things I need itendifiying if you can help out

First off, this moth?



then this catterpillar....



and lastly this fly (well, I think it's a fly but it was huge!)



Had a good day today and saw and photographed my first Small Copper butterfly - yeah!

The moth looks like Antler moth, it often flies by day; not a clue about the other two!

Thanks Molesworth! It was having a field day on the wild patch of scabious by the river. Saw one of the huge flies(?) on it too.

The moth I'd agree is an Antler Moth, Cerapteryx graminis, and the fly looks like the Muscid fly Mesembrina meridiana .... I haven't a clue about the caterpilar, sorry!

Caterpillar looks like a sawfly larva: lots of ridges on each abdominal segment + colouration. Can't see how many pro-legs. May be difficult to get beyond that.

A sawfly lava?!? Oh, ok thanks. Had some on my solomans seal these past few weeks - urgh!
