YES. See your Doctor. Tick DO carry Zoonotic viral diseases, Lymes, TBEV etc. Britain is fortunate in not truly having epidemic areas where watchfulness is the catchword but better to see the Medicine Man than the Ambulance Chaps.

I get a bi-yearly 'top-up' for TBEV as my Daughters live in such an area (Danube Valley). The first three shots will cover you for 10 years.
