| | Large White immigration a considerable westerly immigration of Large White Butterflies at Lowestoft today in off the sea, also several small Thunder flies I am going to collect some of these other migrant insects and hope to identify them. |

| | | Re: Large White immigration Large numbers apparently seen at Braydon water, Gt yarmouth today as well. I was at Winterton and had a steady trickle coming through (maybe 20+ an hour). Lots of thunderflies as well. All this despite the wind being in the wrong direction - it's supposed to switch tomorrow to blow from the continent so could be an interesting day on the coast.
