Can you get any sharper photos? have you got a macro mode or lens on your camera?
just a little hard to ID from the pictures |

My bet is Abrostola triplasia dark spectacle, which is a moth, its not a cabbage white, was it on a nettle Urtica dioica? |

Well id go with Abrostola triplasia you in the south or west? or south west they are more common there. |
