| | | Re: aphid? This is a fascinating area where (you may have noticed,  ) I don't get involved - but the early stages of most bugs (Heteroptera or Homoptera) look much the same. No one would confuse an aphid with a shield bug with a scale insect with a whitefly with a froghopper when they are mature but the earliest stages show all the similarities of their order .... Quote:
