| | | Hairy dragonfly
I took this back in may and asumed it was an early emperor dragonfly (with the warm May we had). But now I wonder if its a hairy dragonfly (I know its not an emperor now). It was taken at Oare marshes, N. Kent. Sorry for the poor quality, it was a few metres away and on an overcast day |

North Kent marshes are good for them although the flight season is short.

| | | Re: Hairy dragonfly I would say Hairy Dragonfly as well. Taken in May it's right for timing as they are one of the first Dragons to be seen, and I can't think of anything similar looking that would be on the wing in May
