Robber fly?
I cant remember much about this fly but I seem to remember thinking I was capturing a hoverfly - it seems very small for a Robber fly but the 'beak' (not seen here) suggests that what it is. I cant find a similar image for genus ID. Taken at The National Archives grounds in Kew. On bamboo.
