unkown wasp

Hi could anyone give me an idea as to weather or not it was a wasp i saw this morning,it was a lot smaller than the common and its antenna were yellow as were it's legs the body was very slender with very bright yellow bands. Never seen one before so thought i'd ask for help i.d ing it.

Hi thanks for putting up the photos but the one i saw was a lot smaller and had thinner bands of yellow round its body,have been trying to find another one so i can take photo.
