Yes, Chilocorus renipustulatus the kidney-spot although they seldom have kidney-shaped marks. The only thing that has central spots like this is one of the melanic 'harlequin' variants but they always have white marks down the sides of the pronotum. |

| | | Re: Kidney-spot? As Dogghound mentioned, it's the wrong shape, rounder with a rim around the outside of the hindbody. That's not always so obvious but  in the 2-spot the fore spots always reach the outside (shoulder) of the elytra and are not rounded.
Also, they sometimes have white on the forebody, which kidney-spot never has ... Quote:
