Any help to confirm one way or the other gratefully received. |

| | | Re: Dragonfly id confirmation please. This is definitely not a dragonfly - it's a damselfly. Very easy to tell them apart - dragonflies rest with the wings spread at right angles to the body. Damselflies are much slimmer and rest with the wings closed parallel to the body. |

That's why I had it down as a whilte legged, I've never heard of a white legged dragonfly!
I've changed the title to what I should have put! |

With regards to the question - I think you're right in your ID of a male White-Legged Damselfly (Platycnemis Pennipes).
