Mini Shieldbug or ?

This little chap was in the Eupatorium, until I saw the photo on the computer I thought it was a fly. It was only about 8-10mm. Any ideas please?

Not a shieldbug, but it is a heteropteran bug, maybe a Deraeocoris species?

hi, i came across a bug like this in the garden recently. It was identified as Deraeocoris flavilinea, a new comer to the UK. see what you think.

Yes I think you are right, apart from mine being blacker they look identical (to me) - thanks
