seven barrows sheildbug

apologies for the quality of the pic, I went to this site to see if I could find any marsh frits, but when I arrived I noticed these little black burrowing shildbugs on an area of bare soil, I spent about 15 min trying to get a good pic and frankly I failed... I was too anxious to try to find the butterfly

I can't be sure if they are the down shieldbug Canthophorus (Sehirus) impessus or the bordered shieldbug Legnotus limbosus

the shape of the lower edge of the corium seems to suggest the former but its apparently rare so I want to be certain

Sehirus impressus is associated with Thesium humifusum (plant certainly at Crog Hill). The bug ISare but I found several last weekend in Salisbury Plain.

Not possible for a novice like me to id from this pic

Yes this plant who I shall not name

is probably present on this site, I'm not sure I'd notice it, the picture in my book illustrates the type of plant I could easily miss or temporarily dissmiss as 'too hard'!!
