| | | Stag Beetles! Yay they've started emerging. My neighbour found some larvae earlier this year in a dead tree he had to cut down, which i rescued and put in some logs at the end of my garden. Then last week I found one dead , caught in the pot lining fibres from a pot near where the larvae were released. Then this weekend while in kent, my parents here at home saw quite a few so i missed them But tonight setting up my (unsucessful) moth trap I saw a large male fly across my garden. My sis has pics of the previous stags so ill try post some. |
