Sorry about the quality of this one, it was a snatched shot from too far away - I have had to enlarge it to get to this size .... is it a Large Red Damselfly? My book say they have black legs though, and this one seems to have light coloured legs ....   |

Yep, definatly Large Red.
Could the light legs be something to do with the light & the camera? |

Hi DS .... I think there may be a bit of flare in the lens, so it's possible this could have altered the colour of the legs somehow .... I'm no expert!

Yep, definitely a Large Red male Damselfly - Pyrrhosoma nymphula. |
