Bug and egg ID please!
Can someone help me out with ID's for this bug and eggs found on different plants in a woodland.

I think the bottom picture shows galls caused by the mite Aceria aceriscampestris - this is on Field Maple, isn't it? They should turn bright red, especially the ones in sunlight. There should be hairy openings on the underside of the leaf.

Many thanks Toby and henrya. It was a field maple and a huge percentage of the leaves had this gall on it. I had tried looking it up but didn't know where to start!
