| | | Ladybird pupa? Is this the Pupa from a 7 spot ladybird please? The colouring looks slightly different than the one Linda posted of a cream streaked ladybird. It was sort of flipping its back end up at intervals. |

| | | Re: Ladybird pupa? I'll stick my neck out and say I think it is a seven spot, on the grounds that it looks just like the ones on my wall that were positively identified by Paul M. It also keys out as a seven spot on the web-based key I use, but I'm not ultra-confident about the accuracy of that. |

I've noticed that pupae sometimes stand up if they are disturbed. |
