Help needed to identify black and white fly
Hi folks,

This is a very distinctively marked fly. I would really appreciate help with identification.

I have one in my book which looks uncannily like it called Coremacera marginata.Might be a starting point till Laurence gets here.

It is Platystoma seminationis, one of the two British species of the family Platystomatidae.
