Are these dance flies Empididae? This is my first time that I think I may have identified an insect apart from those which are known to the general public. Have I got it right?
If you observe carefully you will see 2 Dance flies? and the enticement which the male offered to the female. - |

| | | Re: Have I got it right? I would say you're spot on with and Empid fly. Nice view of the eye showing the different facets of the dorsal and ventral surfaces
