Unidentified Adela Species?

Hi everyone,
Today I found this pale moth in the hedge at the bottom of the garden. Having seen quite a few of the Adela reaumurella moths around, I would say that this is a related species as it is showing the long antenna and has a similar shape. At first I thought it was an albino Adela reaumurella, but from reading another post I now see that there are quite a few Adela species in the UK.
It was taken in Dorset, and had a wing length of roughly 8mm.

Hello Guy,

Not Adela but one of the Incurvariinae - possibly Nematopogon swammerdamella. Check the pics on UKMoths.org.uk

Thanks very much for that id David, that certainly looks like the one on UKMoths. That's a fantastic latin name, swammerdamella, very nice word!
