On a split in a timber sculpture at Pennington Flash, Leigh, Lancs.
About 3cm long - seemed to be leaking small eggs at the top insertion - see pic 2.

Looks a lot like Reticularia lycoperdon - see posts in the thread "Can anyone help me identify this' in the Fungi section.

Possibly Enteridium lycoperdon now called Reticularia lycoperdon.
