Found today in north Kent.
Common blue damsel, at the top of a tree; 
Female hairy dragonfly;  
Reet chuffed!

Aaaaggghhh! Raspberries and strawberries too you. Stamping feet. Throwing camera up the garden!!!

Get your own patch! Envy is a terrible burden Jules Had a swallow and a really early Small Heath yesterday (there's a pic somewhere on another thread). Oh, and finally got some shots of the water voles
You'll not see anything anyway - it's hard to spot dragons when you're laying on the ground looking at shield bugs!

My immediate thought on seeing the dragon was "This'll give Jules the hump!" And then I worried all the way home in case you'd seen one first
Seeing as you asked so nicely... On the fort access road, by the first cattle grid.
remember - look up occasionally!

Wonderful shots and lucky you I've only seen one large red damsel so far (but then I havent been round that many ponds yet).
Great to see their big smiling faces again, thanks for posting them
BTW I am not averse to travelling to Kent you know to nick someone's patch especially where dragonflies are concerned lol. Ermmm, where exactly is this fort access road?
