| | | Brown Bug for ID Can anyone ID this brown bug for me. It was photographed a few days ago on the north Kent coast. It was on the leaf of Alexanders (Smyrnium olusatrum).

Ashe | I don't know - it has several features of the box bug, Gonocerus acuteangulatus but you can't see as much as you'd want on this picture. Too narrow to be a shieldbug; might be a coreid? Mmm...... Heteroptera - Bug Photo Gallery - Foto Galerie Wanzen is a good place to look but it does contain European species not found in Britain ..... |
