Can anyone ID this brown bug for me. It was photographed a few days ago on the north Kent coast. It was on the leaf of Alexanders (Smyrnium olusatrum).

Looks like one of the squash bugs or a plant bug atleast - im sure some1 will give an exact species.... |

Ashe | I don't know - it has several features of the box bug, Gonocerus acuteangulatus but you can't see as much as you'd want on this picture. Too narrow to be a shieldbug; might be a coreid? By the way Paul, thanks for that bug link....I have a photo of a beautiful red bug from Bulgaria that I am trying to identify and hopefully I may be able to find something similar on that site!
