any ideas re ID of this tiny fellow?
about 1.5mm on a wooden fence in SW London:



note the antenna - insect is face down.

Looks like a Staphylinid, of which there are too many! Maybe someone else is brave enough to give it a name, but not me!

It is a very small probably the smallest of the Rove Beetles
