Just saying HELLO to all you fellow enthusiasts.

I am mainly interested in Birding but have a general respect for all wildlife. I am an avid fan of the Forest of Bowland where I spend much of my time.

I enjoy photography (but am no David Bailey)! Nikon D50 & CS2

I have two tom cats (Oscar & Jasper) and live on my tod quite happily.

Forest of Bowland? .... is that the impressive uplands/moorlands to the east of the M6 which I pass on my way to Scotland?

Thanks to all who made me welcome. Sorry it took a while to answer, I had one of those weekends (good but busy).

Only downside was .... I lost my bins!

Oh well, needed some new ones anyway! Got any suggestions for a decent pair?
