Hi there,i been following this site for a couple of weeks now and think its ace and finally took the plunge and joined up.Im into birds for past 4 years but am ready to branch out into trees,insects and any of the other wonders that are around us.I just bought a panasonic fz20 off ebay which i took out today and had my first attempt at.The trouble is im a bit of a technophobe and dont seem to be able to download my pictures to WAB.I tried clicking on insert image but it asked for a URL. Could anyone please explain how you get your pictures from computer to WAB. Bombus Bombus |

Hello Bombus Bombus, welcome to WAB - I am glad you decided to join in and say hello. Im not very technical myself and would get tongue tied trying to explain, but on the top right of the page are some "How to's". Choose the one you need and all will be explained. Welcome to WAB Bombus Bombus.
Basically you need to go to the Gallery page, click on upload, and click on the first browse box, and select the file from your computer. Make sure the image is at least 800 pixels on the largest side, and no more than 1280, also make sure the overall size is less than 500kb.
Normally if you re-size your image within those sizes, and save as mid quality jpeg, (Or for the Web.) the size will be OK.
