| | | Re: Hi from Buckinghamshire Ive been tramping around aylesbury and bierton the last couple of days and been quite successful in photographing butterflies. Ive seen peacocks, tortoiseshell, a speckled wood, but im not sure what the last one ive seen is, though its probably obvious to many of you. I've been uploading them to my website but i dont know if im allowed to give the address here. It's either a small white, big white or a Brimstone butterfly. It had great fun leading me on a merry chase to try and get close enough to photograph it, but i did, and here it is:
Can anyone tell me what it is? Im beginning to believe theres only really 3 types of butterfly. 1. The poser - it'll sit down right in front of you adjusting its position for the most impressive view. 2. The kamikaze - It flies all around, and almost into, you. Twisting you in knots to get a photo. and finally the most annoying (but beautiful!) 3. The personal trainer - You could spend all day and end up lost following this one to get close enough for a photo!. |
