| | | Hello from Leicester Hi all.
I found this excellent site last year whilst looking for info on the Panasonic Lumix FZ30 camera, and recently bought one mainly on the recommendation of matt_xyz's review.
I've been very pleased with it, and have recently posted a few of the photos I've taken with it (mostly birds). I've also had a quick trawl through the 'unidentified' Gallery and made a few suggestions for some of the photos, again mostly birds, but also one or two moths.
I've been birdwatching for over 30 years, and 'mothing' for about 20, and while I certainly don't consider myself an expert on anything, I'll be happy to offer an opinion on bird or moth ID if I can.
I see there are a few members from Leicestershire, including matt_xyz, who I don't think I've met, and oscar2006, MTR and Fourwings, who I certainly have!

Welcome to WAB, even though you've obviously been looking around for a while. I'm glad to hear you're getting on OK with the FZ30.

Andy | Hi Andy good to have your valuable experience on board!
Some of the unidentified images posted can be a bit challenge, but I'm sure you will be able to put most of us straight.

| | | Re: Hello from Leicester Hello Andy, glad you decided to join us - the more the merrier I'm rather into moths myself but only became interested last year, so no doubt you'll be helping me ID a few over the coming months - if they ever find my garden that is, it's still very quiet at the moment.
Welcome to WAB and see you around. |

| | | Re: Hello from Leicester Hi Andy,
Nice to see you on here pal.
The unidentified section/ Gallery is always good for a challenge so any help you can give us Gallery editors in sorting it out would be greatly appreciated.
Look forward to seeing more of your photos/posts.
