| | Hello from the Isle of Wight Hi all, I found this site on Back garden moths, looks good. I'm interested in just about all aspects of British nature but I'm a jack of all trades master of none. Looking forward to posting some good images and some good discussion |

Looking forward to posting some good images and some good discussion | Hello Wightman and a warm welcome. You live in one of my most favourite parts of this world. Lucky you! Great memories of St Boniface Down and Ventnor.

A warm welcome to WAB, you'll fit in fine here there are a lot of us that are Jacks of all trades and masters of none, but we have tongues in our head or should I say keyboards to type on.

And a very warm welcome from me too.
I come from the IOW so this has been very nostalgic for me too!!
I also used to frequent Browns golf courses at Sandown every weekend without fail when I was little..and always used to look forward to the lovely frothy milkshakes and cream cakes at the end ( and then I always used to feel ill in the car on the way home and for hours afterwoods!! ) Oh the memories!!
I loved Blackgang Chine too.....watching it all fall away as you looked on....it was fun at the time to spot a bit going (I was very young!).....but now it is quite horrifying and worrying to see how much has disappeared!!
Robin Hill reminds me of school trips.......And Cowes week , well.......
Oh yes.....this is my welcome to you on the WAB isn't it ...not my childhood memoirs!!
Sorry about that!!
Anyway, I think you live in a wonderful part of Britain, so join in, get posting and let us see all what the IOW has to offer!!
Enjoy yourself.....I'm off to look at some photos |
