| | | From Lincolnshire Hi, I've been lurking on wab for a while now and finally I've put finger to board to say, "Hello!"
Here's a bit about me.
I live in cottage in a wood on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. I currently have a pet rabbit who is a houserabbit. But in the past I've had a variety of pets including a fox terrier, a labrador, a german shepherd and a Jack Russell, an AirSpring, a border collie and a lurcher.
My garden is regularly visited by badgers, muntjac and roe deer, foxes, hares, rabbits, stoats, weasels and even occasionaly by a pole cat-ferret; and recently for the first time... an otter! The number of birds are too numerous to mention.
Is there anyone else from Lincolnshire on wab? |

Welcome to WAB from London.
If you ever want to do a house-swap, be my guest.

Thanks for the welcome.
Wisbeach is on the flat bit of the county. I'm up in the wolds; Tennyson country!
The Fens aren't my cuppa tea. Nowhere to hide if you're an animal and not much to see if you're human.
My nature interests lie mainly with deer (especially muntjac), badgers, foxes and hares. I write about my local wildlife. |

Cambridgeshire, yes. You're right... but it's because it's in that flat, bleak fenland area that I missed spotting that detail.
Speaking of fens and such one of my favourite books is Witchwater Country by Garry Kilworth. Not set in the Lincs/Cambs fens but in similar surroundings. |
