Hello from the BFG

Hello Everyone,

I've just found this site and registered and thought I would introduce myself.

I've been interested in Natural History for as long as I can remember (my Grandfather's influence!), particularly birds. I currently live on the London/Surrey border, having moved from Central Suffolk.
I'm a bird-ringer (C-permit) and ring mostly on our allotment just over the road, aiming mostly for Goldfinches, but inevitably catching mostly Blue Tits!
I'm now 41, and fed up with being a nurse, so I'm packing that in, and 20 years after graduating from Hull University with a degree in Accountancy (Yawwwwwnnnnnnn!) I am going to be returning to University in the Autumn (all those 18 year olds, scarey!).

BFG.

Re: Hello from the BFG

Hi,

Yes BFG is Big Friendly Giant.

I'm going back to University to study Conservation Biology at Roehampton University. The staff are friendly, the students are obviously happy and I am sure I will enjoy the course. They have a wonderful campus, plenty of birds, including Ring-necked Parakeets. Can't be bad.

BFG
