Hi all.
I'm up here in the NEEng + loving exploring here + being able to pop back up to old haunts in SEScot v easily - the best of both worlds. I have quite a young family who often join me when out + about, so we possibly miss bits + pieces due to the noise levels!! But we do really well all the same.
My 1st love is birds but that rolls over into all wildlife + flora - saw lots of orchids this yr, nothing unusual but magnificent all the same.
Have recently been lucky enough to have some close encounters with bats, naterers / dubentines; as well as enoying the thrill of seeing pips in the garden on still evenings (whilst sipping a glass of chilled wine )
Looking forward to hearing + learning more about Wild Britian!

Thanks all for the kind welcomes!! Great to be on board.
An evening glass of chilled is ideal, as I try to watch the bats, more wine consumed, than bats obsereved!! Still worth a try.
Loving this part of the country as it is so close to what I'm familiar with in ELothian + the Borders.
Always a joy to chat to like minded folk!!

Lived in West Lothian for a few years. Watching wildlife in Scotland - otters and divers...sigh! Love Northumberland, esp. the coast.

Midlothian is great, lived there for a while, then worked near by as well. Know ELothian much better though.
