greetings to all,
l am a keen environmentalist with the thinking that we humans are on this earth to be the caretakers of the world.l respect all living things from the small microbe that helps to recycle natures waste to the massive trees contributing to the ecosystem we all need to survive.

l am 57 years of age and married.l have 3 beautiful dogs l rescued from a life of torment and now are spoilt rotton with a life of luxery.They are so layed back now there always horizontal.

my life changed around when l had enough of the woe's in Britian and decided to move permanantly abroad to escape from the destruction of the English countryside and the burdens of the huge taxes that seems to have a nasty habit of increasing above the inflation rate every year.

l moved to Turkey ,but that was a big mistake on my wife and l part.The corruption is on a massive scale there.But that is a completely different story altogether.
l sold the property at a huge loss in Turkey to get out of that country for good,and suceeded in doing so this year.l then moved to Bulgaria on the south eastern side of the country.And glad l made that move.

The country is a wealth of beauty.With far reaching open lands surrounded by an abundance of foilage is a real pleasure to be amongst this wealth of what nature gives us.The wildlife here is very rich in so many species of animals that are so hard to find in britian,because of the habitat has been destroyed,where in Bulgaria the food source is plentiful for the wildlife.

The many species of butterflies are amazing,with the adonis,holly blue,camberwell,fritilleries,skippers,and some l didn't even recoginze,but were like a flouresent yellow and orange flying out from the meadows full of wildflowers.The many species of birds here are common,where in britain are not.The Golden Oriole are all around,the many different shrikes l have seen.And one rare one called the masked shrike l have seen.The black mask bunting l have also seen,singing away from a top branch of a fruit tree in the open field.

l'll post some photos one day to give you an idea of what Bulgaria offers.But!,l would say l certianly have made the right move for a better quality of life.

Welcome to the forum

You should write a book about your happenings in life!

Sounds like a great array of wildlife out in Bulgaria, much like the UK, just slightly different numbers of different species

Good Day Mel,
L will always make it clear to all of the members when l do take photo shots of nature where the images have originate from.
But,l am a little confused of plastering the photos on here for the members convience.
l don't seem to fathon out what is the difference in the libary to the Gallery.
When l post a comment and want to install some images related to that post.Do l use the libary.
l am still trying to find my way a round the forum and how to use it to benefit myself as well as contributing aid to the members.
l'll get there.l have wuite a few images of nature and the wildlife here in Bulgaria.
There is such an array of many species of butterflies here.
l always wanted to see the adonis blue.And l was presented with dozens of them on a food source.l wish l had my video camera on me at the time

Pictures downloaded to the Library are available for instant use in your post's, quality is not so important.
Pictures in the Gallery are moderated before inclusion and may not be available for a post's for several hours. Quality and size of Gallery photo's is much more important.
