Cool Another Confusing Hawk!!
Hi Eveyone!

I was sitting in the garden on Sunday when two birds shot across from right to left lots of squiling and then the bigger bird started to attack the little one with its very pointy beak......i can't decide whether it was a Sparrow Hawk or a Goshawk. Looking at various forums I realise that identifying this is difficult but I'd also like to know what the prey was....

If anyone is an expert I'll forward the photos by email unless there is an easy way to upload pics have tried both the Gallery and the Library without success?

Welcome to WAB.

Sounds like it would probably be a sparrowhawk. No pic visible?

Oh and there's a birds sub-forum this may have been better in.
