Hello all

Just found this forum as I was looking for how I can survey wildlife such as Plant's, Insects etc in my local area. And not to sure who I would need to talk to Norfolk wildlife trust seem good but have a funny feeling it's out of my area... Just
anyway.....
I have lot's of spare time on my hands, also I'm a recovering Agoraphobic, still have panic attacks

but hopefully getting back out into nature, will get me back on my feet.

Sorry to hear of your problems, as I know only too well what Agoraphobia is like

There are a few members here from Norfolk, who I'm sure could give you info/advice on places to visit!

Good luck with your recovery Fengirl. There's no better cure than being in the great outdoors, surrounded by nature.
Just believe you can do it and have faith in yourself.

Hi FenGirl,

Welcome to WAB.

Heck, sorry to hear about your symptoms. I know someone who has panic attacks and I know it's terrible for them.

I can definitely recommend joining one of the wildlife trusts and getting out to meet people and get experience...if you are able.

Otherwise, start taking some pictures and learn who your local recorders are. It helps if they can confirm ID and send your records off for you, I think.

I will try and dig up my "recording thread" as it has loads of useful info.

Thanks for the welcome.
I got an email back from the Norfolk wildlife trust and they said it's cool for me to send any recordings of to them. Also found some links like buglife and plantlife that seem ok.
Not sure if there are any local recorders in my area. It's a tiny village. Would be nice if there was a group.
