| | | Hi all! Hi folks,
found this site today after finding what I'm now pretty sure is a female Lesser Stag Beetle trapped in an old jar in our shed. She seemed worn out so have given her a bit of kitchen roll soaked in water with a tiny bit of honey and she's extended her inner mouthparts to drink. Yes I'm fully aware that nursing a beetle back to health might be a little bizarre but what the hell; I'm not into football...what else would I be doing on a Saturday afternoon!? I'm also guessing I'm not the only one who moves worms and snails from paths into undergrowth!!
Anyway, looking forward to using the site and sharing in the collective knowledge and passion of other enthusiasts.
All the best,
Gill |

I'm sure I'd want to 'nurse' the Stag Beetle too, as they could do with a helping hand!
