Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site. I love wildlife and would spend all my time either cultivating it or sitting behind my camera trying to capture the wonder and beauty of it if other things didn't occasionally call for my attention. I tend to roam Sussex most of all and we are quite lucky to have lots to see down here. Mind you, Norfolk is just wonderful too and there is so much I would love to see in other parts of the country.
I'm chasing kingfishers atm, difficult but not impossible and *so* rewarding when you get a decent view. Btw, I saw my first hedgehog of 2007 on the 29th January! We put out some food for it and I hope its ok.

Whereabouts in Sussex do you frequent?

Glad you saw a hedgehog too, should they be sleeping this time of year tho?

hello Little Owl and welcome to WAB, I too love to cultivate wildlife into my garden and like to photogragh the results - great minds! never seen a kingfisher though.
There is always so much of interest going on here for like minded people I'm sure you'll love it.
