Just thought I'd pop by and say hello. Just registered having spent a number of visits viewing the information on here. I've been interested in wildlife all my life and enjoy nothing more than a wonderful walk with a camera trying to photograph whatever I encounter, or simply the scenery.
As my other interest, besides wildlife, is photography, I find the two go hand in hand and make for a wonderful day  |

David, Hi, Yes I know Summer Leys, although only visited it once or twice myself. Living in Higham Ferrers I usually frequent Stanwick lakes Or Sywell. |

As a wildlife viewing platform, Stanwick (and sywell) are well below Summer leys I have to agree. Summer leys seems to have a couple of well situated hides, but for a simple walk (ie no need to take car, simply walk from home) stanwick is ideal (and has a nice cafe  )
Sywell has always been a favourite as it covers a bit of everything for a walk, always some photo's to be taken, and more to the point a great population of Grass snakes to "Try" and photograph |
