Thumbs up hi to all

hello i am a newbie to this amazing place but am already hooked.. a few words about me i used to spend all my spare time on the river ,fishing but came to realize it was the river and not the fishing that had me hooked (took me 35years to realize but hey i never said i was clever) now i spend all my time there but with a camera, much less to carry looking forward to picking brains and having fun speak to you soon.

Re: hi to all

hello Mark. I'm sure you will have as much enjoyment here as everyone else does you've already found how addictive it can be. Hopefully the weather will let you get down to the river and take some more photos. Don't forget we would love to see some of your photos.

Re: hi to all

Hello there Mark
And welcome to you and your camera!
I am quite new myself too and find this site really compelling, in fact I spend so much time here on the computer, I actually look like this (but with hair...and ears ....and a nose....) Sorry , I digress as usual.
Anyway, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun here, see you at the forum!

Re: hi to all

i wanna say thankyou to all the people who took the time to welcome me it really does help a newbie feel at home... just a few notes in answer to Billy Bobble Dagger the rivers i hang out at are the nene and the Gt ouse but 90% of my river time is on the very small and in places overgrown ouzel that runs through Milton Keynes it is so small and intimate that you are never far from whatever happens...and Monkster if you truly look as you said then you are one fine looking blue google eyed thingy once again thank you all

Hi Mark
I hope you find this place as addictive as me. I don't post often but I'm forever nipping back to see whats going on.
If you have any Fungi pics I'd love to see them, I'm always on the lookout for new pics to draw & the terrific people here have already given me some great ones.
Enjoy your time here
Anne
