John | Hi John,
I find identifying fungi more testing than ldw's I agree with you about
the coast to coast apart from Kidsty Pike in bad weather it takes some beating. |

Through the winter months I live and work in Warwickshire. Come springtime, if I've
saved enough pennies, I make like a snail and put my home on my back until
finances dictate its time to hibernate again.
I've had many memorable times in your lovely county, especially north exmoor
on the south west coast path.
Thanks for the welcome.

Yes. For the last seven years I have worked winter and walked spring, summer
and autunm. This year, with new expensive hobbies ( camara and computer )
I think I will have to settle for long weekends and the odd extended vacation.
I'm sure I'll get no complaints from my feet.

| | | Re: Please allow me to introduce myself That's great, Ian. When you get time, perhaps you could start a thread about some of your long distance walks, or do some diary entries, as I know lots of others on here have done similar, and it's something I never managed to do, so love reading about other people's experiences.
