| | Hello all Hello to all WAB members
I found the site whilst searching for photography forums. I'm a member of a general photography forum but thats based across the pond.
Anyway i'm 26, i've been involved with photography for a few years now and enjoy getting out walking around Derbyshire and the rest of the Midlands. I don't get chance to get out shooting as much as i would like but i suppose that makes it more enjoyable on the occasions do.
Enough about me, look forward to meeting you all in the forum. |

| | | Re: Hello all Hello there Robc
And welcome to the wonderful world of 'Wild about Britain'!
I'm a bit of a photographic novice (that doesn't sound quite right... oh well nevermind) at the moment I only have a basic digital camera, which I love, but seeing all the great photos on here I think I may have to set my sights a little higher.
I have only been here 11 days myself but already I can't remember my life before WAB, as there is so much to see and learn.
Sometimes though it's a bit tricky trying to get on the computer (when I have a free moment ) as unfortunately I am bottom of the pecking order in our house!
Such is life
Anyway, have a good look round and have fun
Ps I had the same thought as Goosey....phew...silly me! |

Just read it back to myself and i can confirm that when out shooting i'm not armed with a rifle, just a canon (camera). |

Welcome to you, and your armoury. What part of Derbyshire are you from? I lived on the South Yorkshire Derbyshire boarder for 18 years.

So where were you? more chesterfield way i assume. | I used to live on the edge of Sheffield, my Mum lives in Bakewell and my brother around the corner from her in a tiny vilage and my sister lives in Dronfield. So I know that area really well.
