What part of Britain did you come from ? Hawkwind.... | Thanks for the welcome, Carol and Hawkwind. I was born in Penrith, Cumbria, so spent the first 18 years of my life there. Then I went to Uni in London and Keele (Staffs) and after that lived in southwest London, until my husband started moving us around the world with his job in an American oil company. We've been in Texas for 14 years!
Over the last few years I've built a website to show some of my birding experiences and adventures. I love hummingbirds and have been very lucky to have them visit my garden, along with Purple Martins which nest every Spring in a martin house we put up for them.
