Oops! A belated hello from the NW Coast.

Hi WABs,
Ashamed to say that I've been on here since late January but only found this page today! Although in my defence, the photographs on WAB are so good, I haven't strayed very far from them. They are addictive and inspirational in equal measures.

I've recently bought a DSLR and am now saving for a decent lens - it's very helpful to be able to see the equipment details that accompany the photos on here and to read the discussions about lenses, bags etc.

I moved to the NW coast 23 years ago and although I love it here, the North Kent marshes have a special place in my heart and it's good to see so many posts from my old haunts back there.

. You're nicely placed for natterjack toads, sand lizards, and the dune helleborine.

Welcome - also belated - cos I have trouble getting off the photo galleries too! And talking of helleborines - there's also marsh on your doorstep and avocets and black tailed godwits ...... and ....... and ........ well lots!!!
