The Postcode Plants Database - Natural History Museum This is also a good website to find out what meadow flowers are growing near by.

Hi Blondie, I wish you all the best with a wild flower meadow. Are the ponies going to graze it? I don't know about which plants they might find poisonous so you'd need to check on that, but I seem to remember in Scotland meadowsweet being very common in the damper areas. Also try to get some harebells for the dryer, or sloping bits. They can really give a good show.

There's a thread somewhere on here (sorry, can't remember where) about using ponies for selective grazing to manage meadows,
