Hello Sweet Pea,

I'm another person who has been a life-long birder, but who doesn't come from Crawley.

Welcome!

Re: Crawley

Hi!

Not from Crawley but from just outside of Horsham so not too far away, I like birds too but am not very knowledgeable. I'm always looking for new friends too.

Have you been to Buchan Country Park?

Welcome to the site.

Re: Crawley

Hi Sweet pea,
I live near to Crawley, a village to the North of Witney in West Oxfordshire. Is that your Crawley. I like birds as well but prefer Water Voles of which there is a colony at Crawley.
Welcome to WAB and enjoy all your future visits.

Yes I have, that were I met up with my Fiance, we both love wildlife and are a close from of the warden, who hates dog walkers as they mess everywhere in the park, which cost him money and time to clear up.

sweet pea.
It's a lovely place, isn't it?

I went there for the first time last Sunday and I must say I was impressed and am looking forward to spending plenty of time there in future. I am going on a working party there in a couple of weeks and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things.

I had a quick chat with a warden there last Sunday (the one with the distinctive earrings), would that be your friend?
