Been a member for a week or two and just found the 'hello' forum (are senior moments allowed on here?)
We have a lovely park here with an old Abbey building that has been very neglected. Things are happening to rectify this and they hold regular events to raise money for the restoration. I am torn between the good things being done to restore the abbey and the effect that all the extra activity/people will have on the wildlife in close proximity to the abbey - some of the events have loud music etc.
We also have Salcey Forest where dormice are being nurtured and lots of other lovely parks. |

Hi and welcome yes senior moments are allowed as I have quite a few are you talking about Delapre Abbey..
I have never been but my friend goes to horse shows there.
I live in Towcester there are a few members from this area enjoy the site.
