I joined WAB a couple of days ago after stumbling across your Web site when I saw what I thought to be raccoon which now turns out to be a polecat. Thanks for the replies.
My Name is Barry and I moved up to Worcestershire from Kent around 4 years ago. I have always had am interest in wildlife. Being a long distant walker and open canoeist. I have seem many species in my travels. but certainly no expert on identifying some of them. I have also done a lot of wildness canoeing around the world. and one of the most memorable experiences was canoeing in the Boundary Wildness canoe area of North America when a beaver popped up along side my canoe to check me out. I will also have to tell you about the time I was attacked by an 18ft crocodile in Kenya whilst canoeing on a river. but will save that for another day.
