I've already had some help from the very helpful people here and thought I should introduce myself. I live on the Beautiful Moray coast, with the best of both worlds, the countryside and the sea on my doorstep.
This is a fantastic site and forum, really glad I found it  .

Welcome to WAB! i love the Moray firth. Visited Gardenstown and surrounding area a few years ago. It was there that I saw my first minke whales. I guess is rather cold up there at the moment?

Thanks everyone . Yes it is beautiful here and very very cold at the moment.
My son has a fantastic job running wildlife boat trips and gets very excited when they see the minke whales. He predicts that there will be even more about next year because of this cold weather. |

Hi Mamma, welcome to WAB. I sometimes get up to various parts of the Moray coast, Rosemarkie and Chanonry Point on the north side and Milton of Culloden, Nairn, Culbin and Spey Bay on the south side.
I often visit in the spring, especially if we are a bit snowbound here like last spring, it's nice to see some green stuff after a couple of months of the white stuff. I might be up quite soon with the weather we're getting here!
