| | Greetings Hi to all,
I have just joined and I thought I would just introduce myself. My particular interests are fungi and wild flowers but really anything to do with the natural world is fascinating to me. I hope to post some of my fungi pictures in the near future.
My other great interest is my cats but unfortunately they aren't an appropriate subject for this forum so I will have to find another website to post piccies of them onto, perhaps 'Stuff on my Cat'!

R xxx | Welcome to WAB Rachel. Looking forward to seeing your piccies etc.
I love cats - I have two black cats called Patsy and Millie (they are both 3 years old). They are curled up next to my husband as I write this. I would love to show piccies of my cats but as you say, this is perhaps not the website for that. Still we can always talk cats in the future as well as wildlife eh?

| | | Re: Greetings Thank you everyone for your lovely messages - it is so nice to be warmly welcomed. Funny though isn't it how if you mention cats lots of other 'addicts' pop out of the woodwork!
I am really looking forward to sharing my photos with you (of orchids, fungi and other delights) but that will depend on me getting the hang of file sizes and the like so that I can get my piccies on the galleries.
If anyone has any top tips on good fungi, or other wildlife spotting sites in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire or Norfolk then I would be really grateful |

| | | Re: Greetings hi Rachel, a warm welcome. as one new member to another - it's agreat place to be.
I've recently become interested in fungi when a few species appeareared in my garden and I discovered WAB trying to identify them.
I love birds and spend alot of time and effort trying to attract as much wildlife as poss' to the garden. People are amazed there is a cat in the family this seems to be a big no no to some bird lovers. But our cat has 2 bells which makes alot of noise when ever she moves, she is kept in at night and isn't allowed out until the birds have had breakfast.
Have fun at WAB, Im not kidding it's easy to become addicted, but take comfort in the fact you'll learn someting new everytime you visit! |

Pleased to meet you! Where do you live?
I've never had a cat, but as soon as I moved in, Chelsea next door decided I was her friend. |
