| | Canon 350d or 400d? Hi every one, being new here please bear with me,i've read all of your comments on the canon 350-400 and i still dont know which to buy. Iam moving up from a Fuji s5500 which
is a great camera as it was my first digital 1 and now i have the spare cash to get something much better but as i've already said confused would be a under statement any help would be much appreciated, also where to buy from with the best deal thanks to any of you who help me. |

But, as I am finding out by listening to the guys on this site, the lense is the most important. I am saving my pennies up for a Bigma just as soon as I can. IMO you will get more out of the 400D but the 350D is still a very good buy. |

IMO you will get more out of the 400D but the 350D is still a very good buy. | there is a big difference between the 300D and the 400D thats for sure - I started with a 300D too and though it was ground breaking at the time , it suffers poorly by comparison with any modern DSLR
however the gap between the 350 and 400 is much smaller - basically just the sensor and the vibration sensor cleaning. If you can get a 350D at adecent price then you wont be disapointed - however you will need to be quick as they are not in production anymore and only a few are left (of course there are also loads of second users bodies kicking about due to people upgrading to 400s and 30s)

Any more and, like Kev says, put it towards a decent lens. | I'm the same as Boddie, I have both, and yes the 400D is worth 50 notes more, but at the end of the day if you are on a budget go for the cheapest body as the photo quality is determined more by the lens than by the body.

I cant comment on the nikon - but the canon kit lens is bobbins , so if you buy a canon buy body only and get a different lens to go with it such as the sigma 18-55 or if you can afford it the 17-85 IS
